Kolkata, May 15 : West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday waxed eloquent about the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mitigate the woes of farmers, migrants and street vendors. Taking to his Twitter handle, Mr Dhankhar said, " Applaud efforts @narendramodi to mitigate woes of FARMERS. MIGRANTS and STREET VENDORS. PM-KISHAN beneficiary farmers will get 2 lac crore concessional credit boost through KISAN CREDIT CARDS. " " Street Vendors will get initial working capital Rs 10,000/-, " he added.
Yesterday, Mr Dhankhar described the Centre's announcement as a farsighted game changer package, which will act as a fillip to economy and small sector. Taking to his Twitter handle, Mr Dhankhar said, " Farsighted game changer package @PMOIndia. Big boost to economy and small sector. " " At end of Covid-19 tunnel there will be floodlight of hope.
