Covid-19: ISKCON to be closed to devotees till March 27

Mayapur, Krishnagar, Mar 23: In compliance with the government directive regarding Covid-19, the ISKCON Mayapur today decided that the temples would remain shut for devotees till March 27.

The temple's communication head said that devotees had been informed through advisory notes.

'Its decided that Sri Sri Radha Madhav temple, Srila Prabhupad Samadhi temple, Bhajan Kutir and Lord Jagannath Temple in Rajapur will remain closed for devotees and pilgrims starting today till March 27,' Subrata Das said.

Deity services will, however, continue in all these places and only devotees essential for such services will be allowed inside these places after being throughly sanitized and thermal scanning.

'Śrīmad Bhāgavatam class will continue. All devotees have been requested to take advantage of online medium for deity darshan and Śrīmad Bhāgavatam classes,' he added.

Devotees have been requested to strictly follow government regulations and restrict themselves only to essential movements out of their houses. (UNI)
