Murshidabad, Mar 5 : A sixty-four-year-old man in this district of West Bengal plans to sue the Election Commission after he finds his voter card having the face of a dog instead of him, that made him a " laughable stock" among his neighbourhood village people.

Sunil Karmakar, a resident of Beowar Ramnagar village, had applied for correction of his voter card and when he received the revised one he was shocked to see that has a picture of a dog instead of his photo.

"I will sue the Election Commission of India for this because I believe this is done mischievously and I have become a laughable object among my neighbourhood villagers. My family members also shocked to see this," the furious Sunil Karmakar told reporters here today. Karmakar said his previous EPIC had lots of anomalies and he had applied for correction. He said new card had correct information but the photo was of a dog sitting instead of him. When contacted local government officials, one of the Block Development Officers said the matter was taken seriously for correction. (UNI)
