Kolkata, Feb 11 : Congratulating her Delhi counterpart and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today said, " Leaders playing on faith through hate speech & divisive politics should take a cue, as only those who deliver on their promises are rewarded. ' Taking to her Twitter handle, Ms Banerjee said, " Congratulations@ArvindKejriwal as #DelhiResults show @AamAadmiParty all set to win #DelhiElection2020 with a thumping majority yet again.

' “Only the development will work. the Modi government's citizenship policies including the Citizenship Amendment Act, NRC and NPR will be rejected. The people have rejected BJP," said Ms Banerjee in a statement.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is leading from New Delhi Assembly constituency, as per initial Election Commission's trends. Kejriwal, also the convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is leading by 2026 votes against BJP's Sunil Kumar Yadav, the poll panel data showed. In 2015 Assembly polls, the AAP convenor trounced Nupur Sharma of BJP by 31583 votes in the said seat. "I have congratulated Kejriwal, people of Delhi. It is a victory of democracy," the chief minister said, in her reaction to the Delhi election trends.
According to the Election Commission figures, the AAP is set to retain power in the national capital, with the party leading in 52 of the 70 seats, and the BJP ahead in 18. (UNI)
