Kolkata, Nov 27 : Dengue death toll continues to rise in and around the city with two more victims death in the city hospitals, official sources said today.
Twenty-nine-year-old Farzina Khatun, a resident of Safin Samabay Abasan in New Town, breathed her last in the city hospital on EM Bypass on Tuesday evening.
The victim's husband is a professor of Alia University in Rajarhat area. She was admitted in hospital with fever and died of dengue.
Fifteen-year-old Debanshi Mandal, a resident Syambazar in north Kolkata, died of dengue at the government owned R G Kar Medical College and Hospital, also on Tuesday.
The death from dengue continued to take toll since January, in which over 26 people have killed. (UNI)
