Youth arrested with over 4 lakh fake Indian currencies from Malda

Malda, Sep 23 : A 20-year-old youth has been arrested with fake notes of Rs 4.02 lakh from Kaliachak of West Bengal's Malda district, police said today.

A special police team from English Bazar following an input laid a trap at the Jadupur bus stand and caught Isha Shekh, a resident of Majampur Ghoontola of Kaliachak, on Sunday evening and recovered Rs 4.02 lakh fake Indian currencies from him.

All the notes in the denomination of Rs 2000. (UNI)
