Kolkata, Jul 27 : Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha leader and MP Derek O'Brien, also the publisher of West Bengal ruling party's mouthpiece "Jago Bangla", has been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI) to appear early next month.Mr Brien, also chief spokesman of the Trinamool Congress, in his Twitter account said " Jago Bangla is Trinamool’s official newspaper.

Sources said the central investigating agency is seeking information regarding the funds of the " Jago Bangla" , a Bengali daily run by the ruling TMC.
