Fake Indian currencies over Rs 4 lakh seized after STF arrested a resident of Malda in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jun 8 : The city police has arrested a man carrying over Indian fake currencies of face value of over Rs 4 lakh from Sealdah area in central part of the city.
The Special Task Force of Kolkata Police laid a trap following a tip off and Isab Ali alias Kalu, a resident of Kaliachak of Malda on Friday evening from Sealdah station area, police added.
The man was carrying Rs 4 lakh 28,000 in fake notes of Rs 2000 denomination and he was here to supply the fake notes to some unidentified people. (UNI)
