Torso of a bank-man found on street packed in a sack in Bengal

Kolkata, Aug 30: In a gruesome murder, the torso of a bank employee, engaged as in a loan recovery department of a private lender, was found packed in a sack in Howrah's Domjur area, police investigating the spine chilling crime said today.

The torso of Partha Chakraborty (25), a resident of Chakdah of Nadia district, was employed in Bandhan Bank at Salap, Howrah, was found on Wednesday afternoon. His face and limbs, both legs and hands, were still not found, police investigating the crime said.

The deceased, used to live in a mess at Howrah, was to collect cash from at least five customers on Wednesday. Police during investigation came to know that the victim had collected around Rs 3 lakh in cash and was on way to attend the fifth and final customer of the day. (UNI)
