31 live crude bombs recovered from two districts of Bengal

At lease 31 live crude bombs, including 11 cane bombs, have been recovered from two districts of West Bengal and one person has been arrested, police said today.

Eleven cane bombs have been recovered from an abandoned factory at Panihati in North 24 Parganas last evening when some local people found them and informed the police. The bomb squad today defused all the lives after taken them to an isolated area.

Police also uncovered some 20 live bombs, stacked in a drum, at the courtyard of one Dulal Sheikh in Bibhum district.

Police also seized four cell phone, Rs 2.5 lakh and some packets of ganja from the house of the owner at Mayureswar.
