nCoV: Seven areas declared as hotspots in UP's Auraiya

Auraiya, Jun 9 : Following the identification of fresh COVID-19 patients in seven villages in the past two days, the district administration announced all seven areas as hotspots.

Additional District Magistrate Rekha S Chauhan said that new coronavirus cases were found in Lohamandi Bidhuna, Rawatpur Yakubpur, Salempur Achalda, Senpur Achalda, Danshah Sahar, Ramdoot ka Purwa Ballapur and Barru Bela and they have been declared as hotspots. Keeping strict peripheral control in these areas, no movement is allowed except for health related, emergency and supply of essential services.

Meanwhile, rigorous contact tracing, house to-house surveillance and residential medical activities will take place. Sanitization, barricading and survey work will also be done in the aforementioned hotspots. (UNI)
