Bulandshahr, Jun 8 : Fifty-four new COVID-19 cases, including the son of Chief Medical Superintendent and three health workers, were reported in this Uttar Pradesh district, Additional Chief Medical Officer said on Monday. Mr Rohtas Kumar Yadav here said that as per the test results obtained late Sunday night, 44 patients in Secunderabad, five in Kakod, two in Gulawathi while one each in Khanpur, Dubai and Siyana were confirmed. Now, there are a total of 233 patients in the district, out of which seven died earlier while 104 have been discharged.
A woman residing in the Kala Aam area of the city who works in a company in Noida, a youth who returned from Delhi in Wajidpur and an iron trader has also tested positive. A youth who came in contact with a positive individual also tested positive in the Khurja area. The 44 patients found in Secunderabad consist of the son of the In-charge CMS, a lab technician and two cleanliness personnel employed in hospitals. (UNI)
