Lucknow, May 19 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the 'Chikitsa Setu' app at his official residence on Tuesday. "The warriors who have a major role to play in breaking the corona chain, when they become infected and are sent in quarantine or isolation, the fight will get interrupted. In such a situation, we will have to protect the doctors, para medical staff, nurses, ward boys, sweepers, police personnel working on the front line as Corona Warriors. We can defeat this invisible enemy by implementing processes in a transparent manner with full vigilance and caution," he said. He said that often due to lack of training, some hospitals are made to shut down.
For such a situation, we have facilitated training through an app. If people want to get trained, then they can do so through this app. Training plays an important role in medication. He said that we have to save ourselves and then show the way to protect others from infection. We have to implement this system at any cost. Chief Minister said that besides making 'Chikitsa Setu App' user friendly and practical, efforts should be made to protect it from cyber-attack. We should also be cautious so that it is not misused anywhere. He said that there are COVID L-1 and L-2 hospitals in every district of the state and we have provided oxygen and ventilator facilities there. Arrangements have been made for proper training also. He said that when we started our fight against Corona, there was a shortage of sanitizers, N95 masks, PPE kits and triple layer masks. But today we have adequate availability of such things in the country and the state and we have also become self-sufficient, he said.
The Chief Minister said that it is often seen that due to a small carelessness, the entire team is forced to go on quarantine, we have to remain careful about it. However, the corona chain has to be broken and we have to prepare ourselves for it. The 'Chikitsa Setu app' will help us in discharging our duties. State Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna, Chief Secretary RK Tiwari, Principal Secretary Education Rajneesh Dubey and many senior doctors and officials were present on the occasion. (UNI)
