Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that prohibitory orders will be enforced across Uttar Pradesh for three days, starting Wednesday. He also said that the state has 34 positive cases of the novel coronavirus, including 1 from Shamli. This man from Shamli came to India from Saudi on March 15, added the UP CM.
Yogi Adityanath also said that 11,000 new isolation wards have been created in Uttar Pradesh. The Nepal-India border and the state’s Delhi-Haryana borders have been sealed and inter-state bus services suspended.
The UP CM also urged traders, industrialists and pharmaceutical companies to support the state government’s fight against Covid-19.
