Lucknow, Mar 18 : The COVID-19 cases in Uttar Pradesh is now rose to 16 with a resident doctor at the King George Medical University (KGMU) diagnosed positive for Coronavirus on Wednesday. In charge of the KGMU isolation ward Dr Sudhir Singh confirmed on Wednesday, that a junior doctor has tested positive for Coronavirus.
"The affected doctor was treating the coronavirus patients. The doctor is stable and there is nothing to worry about," he added. The resident doctor in the medicine department fell ill and his test sample found to be positive. Around a team of 22 doctors have been engaged in the treatment of the coronavirus patients at the KGMU and the resident doctor was among them.
Presently Agra has the highest number of 8 coronavirus patients followed by three each in Lucknow and Noida and two in Ghaziabad. However, it has been reported that three Covid-19 patients of Agra, who were treated in Delhi, have been fully cured. (UNI)
