Four killed in two separate road mishaps in UP

Bareilly, Feb 4 : Four people were killed in two separate road mishaps in this district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Tuesday. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Dr Sansar Singh said that Sooraj Pal (32), working in a factory situated in the Kesarpur village of Faridpur, had left his home along with his wife Usha (28) and five-month-old daughter Mohini on a motorcycle.

Meanwhile, an oncoming truck rammed into their bike near an under-construction toll plaza at the highway, killing Usha on the spot. On the other hand, Mohini succumbed to her injuries while on her way to the hospital. In a separate incident, a speeding car hit two scooty-borne individuals in the Balipur village of the Bithrichainpur area. The deceased were identified as Sheenu (15) and her friend Sheetal (16).
