Kuldeep Sengar’s brother, booked in Unnao rape case, passes away

Lucknow, Oct 27: Expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar's younger brother Manoj Sengar, passed away under mysterious circumstances in Delhi on Sunday.

According to sources, Manoj was rushed to the Maualana Azad Medical College at around 0230 hrs after he complained of restlessness and chest pain, but died shortly after. Sengar’s nephew, Prakhar Pratap Singh, said, 'It is a shock for the family, the reason for the death of my uncle is still not clear. All the family members are on their way to Delhi and postmorterm is being done. Only after that will we know what really happened to him".

Manoj Sengar was one among the ten accused, including Kuldeep Sengar, booked by CBI in connection with the Unnao rape survivor’s accident case under sections of the IPC related to criminal conspiracy, murder, attempt to murder and criminal intimidation.

He was in Delhi and was pursuing the case of his brother Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is lodged in Tihar Jail on charges of rape in the Unnao case. (UNI)
