Rampur, Aug 1 : Rail services on the Lucknow-Delhi route via Bareilly were disrupted since early Thursday morning after three wagons of a goods train derailed near Milak Dhaneli village near Rampur station.
Government Railway Police sources here said that though the traffic on the upline has resumed with caution, but the downline is totally disrupted since 5.30pm.
Railway officials from Moradabad division have reached the spot and efforts were on to bring the wagons on the track. Due to the derailment, around half a kilometer of track has been damaged.
Several trains have been diverted through alternate route of Chandausi and it is expected that the normal traffic will resume later in the day. (UNI)
