Gorakhpur, May 11 : Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday averred that in the sixth phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s account will not open in the state.
Addressing an electoral rally in support of 'gathbandhan' candidate Ram Bhual Nishad at the Jeetpur Bazar in Gorakhpur district's Pipraich Vidhan Sabha area, Mr Akhilesh said that Uttar Pradesh will get 'swacch' and free from those carrying out Swachhta drive as the saffron party's account will not open in the state.
He said that large scale fraud had taken place in the construction of toilets. The farmers of UP are perturbed with the menace of stray animals and not terrorism, adding that the farmers had to guard their farms day and night.The SP president said that the BJP was standing on a foundation of lies and hatred and the 'gathbandhan' was giving a tough fight to the same. A 'mahagathbandhan' storm is underway in the five phases of elections which have taken place hitherto.
The BJP leaders have also realised that now, they are going out of power. In the sixth and the seventh phase (last phase), the people are going to make the 'mahagathbandhan' candidates victorious, he said. (UNI)
