Mainpuri, Apr 1: Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav will file his nomination papers from Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat on Monday.
Before leaving for Mainpuri from his Etawah residence,his brother Shivpal Singh Yadav, went to seek blessing and wished him for a big success. On Sunday, Shivpal, who is pitted against his nephew Akshay Pratap Yadav, from Ferozabad seat, said that he is forced not to accompany Netaji due to his rivalry with other party leaders. "I am always with Netaji and wish him a big success in this elections," Shivpal told reporters after meeting his elder brother for around 30 minutes.
Mulayam Singh will be accompanied by his son and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav along with other family members during filing of the nominations.
Mulayam, is reported to have left for Mainpuri on Samajwadi Rath from Saifai, covering around 40 kilometers. Later, he is slated to address a public meeting at the Samajwadi Party office, here.
Mulayam Singh Yadav, this time was contesting from Mainpuri, though in 2014 he contested from Azamgarh and Mainpuri both.
After Mr Yadav left Mainpuri seat, on which his grand nephew Tej Pratap Yadav won. This time Azamgarh seat is being contested by SP president Akhilesh Yadav. UNI
