Lucknow, Mar 24 : Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will enter the 2019 Lok Sabha poll fray by contesting from Azamgarh, while former cabinet minister Azam Khan will make his debut from Rampur.
Mulayam Singh Yadav, sitting MP from Azamgarh, has been fielded from Mainpuri this time. Mr Akhilesh Yadav had repeatedly said that he was ready to contest the polls from where the party workers would say.
In the first phase, eight Lok Sabha seats are going to polls on April 11 and tomorrow is the last date for filing of the nomination papers. (UNI)
