New Delhi, Jan 13: Minority Affairs minister , Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party will present a good show in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh and overall general polls in the country, further claiming that the BJP and NDA will again form the government despite any alliance against it.

In a question regarding the alliance of the opposition parties in Uttar Pradesh in view of fighting the upcoming Lok Sabha polls , Mr Naqvi said such moves show that the parties know that they cannot fight alone , so they are thinking to fight together.

Taking a jibe at the Congress, Mr Naqvi said their own supporters are not looking keen to be with them in UP , further adding that if this is what there supporters think , then one can understand what the people of Uttar Pradesh think about them.

Mr Naqvi , speaking on the sides of the Hunar Haat inaugurated on Sunday by him and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, expressed confidence regarding the BJP and NDA's leadership and said under the guidance of their leader Narendra Modi their government will be formed again.

Finance Minister and the Minority Affairs Minister inaugurated the Hunar Haat here at the State Emporia complex at Baba Kharak SIngh marg in Connaught Place.

Mr Jaitley speaking about the initiative said such a thing has given opportunities to many people and has also contributed in preserving the talent and empowering the artisans and their skills.

Hunar Haat being organised across the country has proved to be 'Empowering and Employment Exchange programme ' for the master artisans and the craftsmen.

Being an employment oriented programme, Hunar Haat has significantly encouraged and promoted the rich traditional heritage which had been marginalised for a long time.

A large number of women from across the country have also participated in the Haat which has seen participation of many culinary experts also. (UNI)
