New Delhi, Jan 12 : The vocal BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday slammed the Congress and other opposition parties for pursuing a politics of dynasty and caste-based mechanism which had contributed to the growth of corruption and terror menace.
"By pursuing the politics of caste and dynasty, the opposition parties have contributed to growth of terrorism, Naxalism and other menaces like corruption," Yogi Adityanath said addressing the BJP National Convention here.
He said Swami Vivekananda had said that a society which is 'bereft' of its past stands like a 'Trishanku' - hanging in confusion.In this context, he said - "If any party which has kept the country hanging in confusion is the Congress party".
"The Congress and all other such parties have only led the country with their politics of caste and family rule," he said adding the social and economic fabric of the country were also disturbed.
This imbalance was corrected by the Narendra Modi government through various welfare measures, the UP Chief Minister said. (UNI)
