Ambassa(Tripura), Jul 01 : Extending a major boost up for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) aspirants, the urban authority of Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat has started a free coaching camp for TET at local Madrassa Class XII School in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here this evening.
The coaching camp aimed at providing assistance to the aspirants from the urban area would continue three days a week till the examination. The camp was inaugurated by the Chairperson Prashanta Sinha. Vice Chairperson Swapna Das Paul and other Councillors, teachers and eminent personalities remained present on that occasion. In his short inaugural speech Prashanta remarked, "The Nagar Panchayat is working after the aims and objectives of the state government to ensure development for all and with all. In this mission, every person is important to us and we are determined to provide opportunities for betterment."
"Now, financial restraints and some infrastructural burdens we are not being able to keep the momentum up. Still we are trying and the coaching camp is the proof itself. It is a fact that, such initiatives should be started earlier and then the aspirants would be more benefited. But it's better late than never. In coming days we are thinking to extend the coaching for other competitive exams and at a large scale," he added.In the programme, aspirants from different wards of the urban body participated in great numbers.(UNI)
