Agartala, Jan 28 : Reaction sparked off in political circle of Tripura with the schedule of public rally in March here by Kanhayia Kumar, a former President of the JNU student’s union who is known for his articulation against Hindutav, BJP and Narendra Modi led government.
The CPI state secretary Ranjit Mazumder said here today that as per the scheduled of left parties in the state, CPI will organize month long protest program across the state on alleged deterioration of law and order in the state and other issues related to communalism and political atrocities under BJP-IPFT government.
The party will hold protest rallies, march and dharna across the state on protesting deteriorating economic condition of the state besides others. The central rally of CPI will be held at March end in Agartala where Kanhayia Kumar is scheduled to address.
The anti-left parties raised voice against the decision of bringing Kanhayia Kumar in public rally arguing that his anti-Indian stand and hatred speech would destroy the peaceful environment in the state and to instigate communal forces.
The parties demanded the state government to ensure adequate measures before allow him to speak. (UNI)
