Hyderabad, Jun 7 : Telangana Health Minister Etala Rajender has said that the COVID-19 cases were increased in the state due to relaxation of lockdown. At a review meeting held here on Sunday, the Minister asked the people to cooperate to give treatment to the COVID-19 patients who have low level symptoms at their houses.
The decision has been taken to reduce the pressure on COVID-19 Government hospitals, he said. Stating that the lockdown was relaxed for the Livelihood of the people, the Minister asked the people not to take risk by coming out from their houses. Spreading of Coronavirus due to a large number of people coming out from their houses. The fatality would also increase if aged people and the people who have other health related problems, the Minister said and asked the people to take necessary protective measures. Stating that the state government is taking all steps to reduce the deaths due to COVID-19, Mr Rajender asked the people to be careful.
“We are ready to bring the medicine to the disease of COVID-19 it will be available anywhere ever in the world," he said. The Minister asked the official to provide treatment at the primary health Centre to the patients who were suffering with cough and cold. He also directed the officials to provide an isolation facility at the district level for the suspect of COVID-19 patients. Medical Education Director Dr Ramesh Reddy, Public Health Director Dr Srinivas, Gandhi Hospital Superintendent Dr RajaRao and among others participated in the review meeting, an official statement here said.
