Hyderabad, Apr 17: Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, hailstorm and gusty winds (30- 40 kmph) is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana for four days starting from Saturday, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a bulletin here, it also said that thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds (30-40 kmph), lightning and hailstorm is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Friday and on April 21 and 22.
Further, it also said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days.
Maily dry weather is likely to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the same period, the bulletin said.
The maximum temperature is likely to be around 40 degree Celsius to 42 degree Celsius at isolated pockets in Telangana and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Dry weather prevailed in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 40.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Nizamabad in Telangana and 41.1 degree Celsius at Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh during the same period, the bulletin added.(UNI)
