Hyderabad, Apr 14: Six fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported in Telangana on Wednesday, taking the total number of people detected for the coronavirus in the state to 650 and the government is preparing a detailed lockdown exit plan.
Of the total cases, includes 514 are active cases, 18 deaths and 118 people were discharged after curing from virus, state Director Public Health Department said in its bulletin here.
22 districts out of 31 of districts in the state have 259 containment clusters and a total of about 94 thousand household and over 1.13 lakh population checked for the possible symptoms, the bulletin said.
Highest number of 269 positive cases reported in Grater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits followed by Nizamabsd (36), Vikarabad (32) , Suryapet (23) and Warangal urban (21)
Telangana Minister for IT and Industries K.T.Rama Rao while interacting with the captains of the IT industry over a video call, on Wednesday stated that the government will prepare a detailed lockdown exit plan soon and share with the industry representatives.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at a high-level review meeting on lockdown situation in the state on Wednesday evening made it clear that as per the guidelines given by the centre, lockdown in Telangana state would continue till April 20 as it is even as the government extended the lockdown till April 30.
