Hyderabad, Apr 14: Thunderstorm, accompanied with lightning, is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Centre warned on Tuesday.
In a bulletin here, it also warned that thunderstorm accompanied with lighting is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh on April 17 and 18. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next five days and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on April 15 to 18, the bulletin said.
The maximum temperature is likely to be around 40 degrees Celsius to 42 degrees Celsius at isolated places in Telangana during the next 48 hours. Dry weather prevailed in Coastal Andhra Pradesh &Yanam, Rayalaseema and rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana during the last 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature of 40.9 degree Celsius was recorded at Nizamabad of Telangana and 43.2 degree Celsius recorded at Jamga, Rajeswarapuram of Andhra Pradesh during the same period, the bulletin added.
