Telangana govt extends lockdown until April 30, no exams from class 1 to 9

Hyderabad, Apr 11: Telangana Cabinet at its special meeting tonight decided to extend the lockdown, the state up to April 30.

Briefing media after a marathon cabinet meeting held at Pragathi Bhavan here, Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao said the lock down would be lifted after April 30 in a phased manner depend on the situation.

He also announced that examinations from class 1 to 9 in government and private schools in the state would be cancelled and the students would be promoted to the next higher class without examinations. UNI
