Hyderabad,Mar 22 : In response to the call by Prime Minister Narendar Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao along with his family members participated in clapping at the stroke of 1700 hours on Sunday to show gratitude to the medical fraternity engaged in the fight against COVID-19.
Some ministers and officials were also seen clapping along with Mr.Rao at Pragathi Bhavan,the camp office-cum-official residence of the CM. A large number of people including women and children in the state capital came out of their houses or standing atop roofs or balconies also clapped to thank the people engaged in the war against the global pandemic. Meanwhile,sources claimed that the Chief Minister may extend the shut down till March 31 following a good response to the Janata curfew after discussing at a high-level meeting later today. (UNI)
