Hyderabad, Nov 29 : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided on Saturday to hold a meeting with RTC workers from all the 97 depots in the state . The meeting will be held at Pragati Bhavan, the Chief Minister's camp office here at 1200 hours on Sunday.
Mr Rao has decided to invite five members from each depot and instructed the RTC interim Mangaing Director Sunil Sharma to make arrangements for their travel to attend the meeting. The Chief Minister instructed that of the five members team from each depot, two members should be women and also wanted representation of all communities.
Mr Rao, who will interact personally with workers after the lunch, will discuss threadbare all the issues related to the RTC.
For this meeting, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, RTC Managing Director , EDs, RMs and DVMs are also invited.
Earlier in the day, Mr Kumar, who met the Chief Minister at Pragati Bhavan, thanked him for allowing RTC workers to join duties unconditionally. The Minister also thanked Mr Rao for having assured to take measures from the government side to safeguard existence of the RTC and for deciding to have talks with the workers directly. (UNI)
