Hyderabad, Nov 4: The indefinite strike by employees of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) had entered the 31st day on Monday severely affecting bus services and inconveniencing lakhs of commuters in the state.
Reports said only a dozen employees reported for duty till Sunday in response to the November 5 deadline set by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for the striking employees to resume their work.
The striking employees continued their protests by holding dharnas near depots and taking out rallies all over the state.
The Joint Action Committee (JAC), which is heading the strike, is firm on continuing the stir till their demands including merger of the loss-making corporation with the government were met. (UNI)
