Hyderabad, Oct 26 : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday thanking the people of Huzurnagar Assembly Constituency for giving thumping majority for the Telangana Rastra Party (TRS) candidate S Saidi Reddy in the by election held on October 21 announced a slew of schemes for the development of the constituency.
With this win, the TRS Government would work with more dedication, he said while participating in thanks giving public meeting held at Huzurnagar, Suryapet district this evening.
Mr Rao announced about Rs 100 crore for the development of Huzurnagar Assembly constituency. He sanctioned Rs 20 lakh for each Gram Pancyats, totaling of 134 Gram Panchayats and Rs 30 lakhs were sanctioned for each Mandal headquarters, totaling of 7. He also sanctioned Rs 25 crore for Huzurenagar and Rs 15 crore sanctioned for Neredu-Cherlla Development Authority.
Announcing one tribal residential school, one Polytechnic College and one ESI Hospital for Huzurnagar, the Chief Minister assured to constitute a Court after consulting with the High Court Chief Justice.
He also assured to resolve Podu land issues of Miryalaguda and Nagarjunasagar areas after conducting Praja Dharbars. Stating that the state is at forefront in several issues, the Chief Minister said Telangana was the only state implementing 24X7 free power supply to farmers, Rythu Bhandu and Rythu Bhima schemes in the country.
Elaborating on ongoing irrigation projects, Mission Bhagiradha, Mission Kakatiya, the Chief Minister said, the TRS government was committed to provide irrigation facility for 1.20 crore acres in the state. (UNI)
