Hyderabad, Oct 11: Hyderabad City Police commissioner Anjani Kumar on Friday warned frontal organisations of Maoists not to mislead innocent youth to the path of violence.
In a statement here, Mr Kumar said Frontal organisations like Telangana Vidyaarthi Vedika (TVV) have a long history of associations with Maoist groups. In a recent search and seizures many incriminating materials have been found, the Commissioner said.
The strength of India is its democracy and government elected by popular vote, he said many pseudo intellectuals are also associated with such frontal organizations and they all will be exposed before the court of law.
There are many criminal cases against such frontal organisations in many districts, Mr Kumar added. It may be mentioned that the Gadwal-Jogulamba district police had earlier slapped sedition charges against an Assistant Professor of Osmania University PG college, three members of TVV and an activist of Chaitanya Mahila Sangam accusing them of working in cahoots with the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist).
