Hyderabad, Oct 8: Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, symbolising the victory of good over evil, was celebrated with religious fervour across Telangana on Tuesday.
People in multitudes including women and children thronged Goddess Durga temples and offered special poojas on the occasion of Dussehra, which also marks the end of Navaratri.
Several prominent people including Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy also offered prayers at different Goddess Durga temples.
Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao have extended Dasara greetings to the people. (UNI)
