Hyderabad, Oct 6: Telangana BJP unit on Sunday demanded Chief Minister K Chandhrasekhar Rao to personally meet the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) JAC leaders immediately, to listen their demands and find a resolution at the earliest.
The BJP State Chief Spokesperson K Krisahna Saagar Rao said,"TRS Government adamancy is reflecting its fascist centralization of power and undemocratic spirit. Chief Minister can't consider strike by RTC employees, as a personal insult or as a revolt against him."
Employees, labour unions have a right to strike and they are only using their legally provided rights to highlight their demands. It's the responsibility of the management & the state government to address their demands and find a resolution, he said.
The BJP urged CM KCR to immediately initiate direct interaction with the RTC JAC leaders and find an amicable resolution at the earliest."People of Telangana are facing serious inconvenience during this festival time with RTC strike and BJP blames the state government inaction responsible for this fiasco," Mr Rao said.
As the days pass, this strike can pose serious transport issues across the state and impact regular lives and livelihood of the common people in the state. CM KCR will be held responsible for all the hardships the common people have to go through in days ahead in the state, the spokesperson added. UNI
