Hyderabad, Sep 1 : Southwest Monsoon has been active in Telangana and heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Komaram-Bheem, Nirmal, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Kama Reddy, Karimnagar, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Rajanna-Siricilla, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Mulugu, Khammam, Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural, Mahabubabad, Nalgonda and Suryapet of Telangana during the next three days, Meteorological Department warned on Sunday.
In a bulletin here, it also warned that heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the next 48 hours. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places/ at many places/ at a few places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
Southwest monsoon has been active in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours. Very heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Kamareddy, Warangal_Rural and heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Warangal_Urban, Medak, Mancherial, Mahabubabad, Nagarkurnool, Peddapalle, Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts of Telangana, while heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Vizianagaram district of Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Rain occurred at most places in Telangana, at many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours, the bulletin added. (UNI)
