Hyderabad, Aug 4 : The East Zone Task force has arrested a two-member gang (licensed stamp vendors) at Gandhi Nagar police station limits here on Saturday evening for indulging in preparation of fake land documents and selling of old non-judicial stamp papers, police said here on Sunday.

On a tip off, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone Team( Hyderabad ) apprehended Kranthi Suresh Kumar, a real estate businessman along with his associate Mohd Ali, a document writer, who were indulged in preparation and selling of fake land registered documents of others, procuring and selling old and out dated Non-judicial stamp papers for wrongful gain.

While another accused Satish, who is also indulged in fake land documents case, is absconding, said S Chaitanya Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force , Hyderabad City, in a release here on Sunday.

A total of 228 Old Non-Judicial Stamp papers (blank and written), 105 New Non-Judicial Stamp papers (blank and written), 104 fake Rubber Seals and Stamps of Sub Registrars and various Government Officials besides other incriminating material have been seized from the accused.

During interrogation, the accused confessed that they both are licensed stamp vendors at Secunderabad court and due to which, they both came into contact.

In this process, the both had hatched a plan to procure old Non-Judicial Stamp Papers and sell the same to the known and needy customers. Subsequently Kranthi Suresh Kumar started procuring old Non-Judicial stamp papers from one person by name Satish and handed over the same to Mohd Ali, who in turn sells it to the litigants/Real estate brokers and cheating the genuine authorised property owners.(UNI)
