Community Fridge under ‘Feed the Need’ initiative inaugurated in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Jun 8: In a bid to avoid food wastage and assist those in need, a Community Fridge, supported by ADP India was inaugurated under the 'Feed the Need' initiative, here on Saturday.

As part of the initiative run in partnership between GHMC and ‘Apple Homes’ - a voluntary organization, this is the 11th such Refrigerator named – Apple Fridge – set up at Mahavir Hospital road, at AC Guards in the city.

The objective of the initiative is to promote people to donate the left-over food in the refrigerators for the homeless and needy people. These refrigerators will be accessible to anyone who wishes to have a free meal during any time of the day.

This 11th Apple Fridge was inaugurated by ADP Private Limited Managing Director Mr. Chaayanath K. Mysore and representatives from Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) and Apple Homes. (UNI)
