Hyderabad, Mar 24: Telangana chief Minister and TRS President K Chandrashekhar Rao will resume his second leg electoral campaign for Lok Sabha elections with a series of public meetings from March 29.
He will participate in two public meetings everyday, covering 11 Lok Sabha constituencies, according to party sources here on Saturday.KCR will address public meetings at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda constituency and LB Stadium covering Secunderabad, Chevella and Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituencies on March 29.
He will also participate in public meetings at Wanaparthy in Nagarkurnool constituency and Mahabubnagar on March 31, followed by a public meeting at Ramagundam in Peddapalli constituency on April 1.
He will address public meetings at Warangal and Bhongir Lok Sabha constituency headquarters on April 2. Similarly, he will participate in public meetings at Andhole in Zaheerabad constituency and Narsapur in Medak constituency on April 3. He will also speak at public meetings in Mahabubabad and Khammam Lok Sabha headquarters.
However in the first leg election campaign, he had addressed a public meeting earlier each at Karimanagar and Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituencies. Addressing at Karimnagar on Sunday last , KCR said that he would start a national party "if necessary" to herald reforms and "unite the country".
He stressed on the need for an "alternative federal politics" in the country and said he would play a major role. Of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, the TRS is seeking 16 for itself leaving one for its ally the AIMIM, led by Asaduddin Owaisi, to ensure that Telangana gets a "good" deal post the general elections.UNI
