Hyderabad, Dec 7: TRS President and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (popularly known as KCR) cast his vote in Chinthamadaka village of Siddpet district this afternoon.
KCR, who is contesting for second time from Gajwel Assembly Constituency, casted his vote at Chintamadaka polling booth after reaching by helicopter from his farm house near here. After casting his vote, Mr Rao, talking to reporters, said the wave in the election was towards the TRS and people are anxious to cast their vote after witnessing serpentinue queues in Hyderabad.
However, KCR’s son and Caretaker IT Minister K T Rama Rao, who casted his vote at St Nizamis High school polling booth in Banjara Hills here said people will vote for their own state. Lok Sabha member Kavitha, daughter of Mr Chandrashekar Rao, had casted her vote along with her husband in Nizamabad.
Telangana caretaker Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, also nephew of Mr Rao exercised his franchise in Siddipet. UNI
