Chennai, May 30 : Days after allowing resumption of TN serial shooting with 20 people, the Tamil Nadu government today eased the restrictions and said 60 people would be allowed during shoots. An official release said following a request from FEFSI and small screen producers, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswmi granted permission to hold shoots with 60 people.
A few days ago, the government said shooting should be held indoors and not more than 20 should be present in view of the lockdown to tackle the spread of coronavirus pandemic. However, serial producers and FEFSI said it was impossible to shoot with 20 people and urged the government to reconsider its decision. Today, in a fresh order, permission was granted for 60 people. It also said that permission should be obtained from the Corporation Commissioner for shooting in Chennai and from Collectors in other districts. (UNI)
