Three more Covid19 positive cases were reported in Tamil Nadu , taking the total six.All three were foreigners, two Thai nationals and an Indian from New Zealand, State Health Minister C Vijayabaskar told reporters on Saturday.The Thai nationals came to Erode by train after spending a week in New Delhi.
They were admitted to Government hospital and isolated.The government was tracing their contacts, including passenger in the train to isolate them." It's quite a challenging job, but it has to be done" , the Minister.Erode district collector said the two Thai nationals and six of fellow travellers had been quarantined in Government General Hospital.The Indian from New Zealand has got himself admitted to Apollo Hospitals in ChennaOf the earlier three cases, one has been cured and sent home while the other two are in Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai.
The Minister said screening train passengers was not fool proof as thousand come in every day."Going by reports from Italy showing army removing bodies, the situation is quite scary" , he said candidly.
