Chennai, Nov 26: PMK Founder Dr S Ramadoss, as staunch supporter of Eelam Tamils, today paid rich tributes to war hero V Prabhakaran and said reconstructing Tamil Eelam would be a tribute to the Tiger Supremo.

In a series of tweets, Dr Ramadoss, with mentioning the world 'LTTE' (which as declared as a proscribed outfit in India) said ''Greetings to Prabhakaran a war strategist sans backtracking, epitome of ethical governance and an icon who kept liquor away from the people, on turning 65.'' He said ''After the fall of two heroes, reconstructing a Tamil Eelam, which is in tatters in the last ten years, not only due to war, but because of cultural degradation, and ensuring a model governance is the tribute to the Tiger supremo” ''A wonder should happen in that soil'', he said.

During the height of the ethnic war, Mr Prabhakaran, who strived for the equal rights of Eelam Tamils in the Island Nation, was declared 'killed' in the final phase of war in 2009 by the Sri Lankan government.

It may be recalled that after the recent Presidential elections in which former President Mahinda Rajapakse's brother was elected as the new President in Sri Lanka, Dr Ramadoss said it the outcome of the polls, in which the Tamils predominantly had voted for Sajith Premadasa, should be construed as a referendum for formation of a separate Tamil eelam.

He also said if need be another referendum could be held among Tamils in this regard, while urging the Indian government to take steps for the safety of Eelam Tamils. (UNI)
