Chennai, Jan 24 : Asserting that the second edition of Global Investors Meet (GIM), which concluded on Thursday, has opened, a new chapter in the annals of Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said 304 MoUs involving a huge investment of Rs three lakh four hundred crore were signed during the two-day event.
Delivering the Valedictory address here, he said the two- day event was a grand success and was an endorsement of the policies and programmes of Amma’s government. 'The positive response shown by the investors has surpassed our estimates as 304 MoUs were signed during the event', he added.
These MoUs involve huge investment of Three lakhs four hundred and 31 crore rupees which provide job opportunities for 10 lakh 50 thousand people, he said. (UNI)
