After last night's heavy dust storm that hit life in Delhi and the National capital region, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday forecast likelihood of thunderstorm with squall at isolated places over Delhi during the day.
The wind speed is expected between 50-70 kmph. The Delhi Government has declared that all evening schools (second shift which starts from the afternoon) will remain closed on Tuesday following weather warning.
According to the Met Department, thunderstorm accompanied with are also expected to occur at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh and West Uttar Pradesh.
In national capital, the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius while the humidity till 8.30 am was pegged at 54 per cent. The maximum temperature is likely to hover at around 34 degrees Celsius.
On Monday late night, high speed winds lashed Delhi and NCR including Gurugram and Faridabad which affected power supply in various places. In Delhi, trace of rain was also recorded. (UNI)
