MNS protests against proposed bullet train

Pennews

More than two dozen activists of Raj Thackeray-led MNS on Tuesday agitated and stalled the land survey work at Shil for the proposed bullet train.

Around 39.66 km of the bullet train route will pass through Thane district and the government plans to acquire around 2.41 hectares of land in Shil for the ambitious project.

Sandeep Pachange, Thane city president of the MNS’ youth wing and Thane region chief Avinash Jadhav led the agitators. MNS chief Raj Thackeray is strongly opposed to the bullet train project. (UNI)
