All university and board examinations, which were scheduled to be held on Monday, have been postponed in the Kashmir valley, where three militants were killed in an encounter by security forces in Anantnag early on Monday.
A spokesman for the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) said all examinations which were scheduled to be held today have been postponed. The university had earlier postponed a number of papers last week. He said next date of postponed examinations will be announced later.
Similarly, the Kashmir University (KU) and the Board of School Education (BOSE) have also postponed all scheduled examinations today. A KU spokesperson said teaching in the university will also remain suspended.(UNI)
