An activist of Students Federation of India (SFI) suffered serious stab injuries and three others suffered minor injuries in an attack by a 15-member gang,allegedly belonging to Bharatiya Janata Party at Thaliparamba in the wee hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred when all the four SFI activists were returning to their houses after attending the Thrichambaram Sree Krishna temple festival near Thaliparamba at 3 am.
According to police, SFI Kanhiranghad Cooperative college General secretary and SFI College unit joint secretary N V Kiran (19) of Nhattuvayal, suffered three stab injuries on his chest. He was admitted at Pariyaram Medical college hospital. (UNI)
